Hilton has expanded its presence in Hong Kong with the opening of the city’s first midscale Garden Inn hotel.

The new Hilton Garden Inn Hong Kong Mongkok, which is located 1km from Mongkok MTR station, becomes the first Hilton hotel to open in the city since the Conrad Hong Kong in 1990.

It offers 258 rooms and a range of guest-friendly amenities, such as a 24-hour fitness centre, a “grab and go” F&B area, self-service laundry room, free Wi-Fi, and digital room keys for members of Hilton’s loyalty programme.

Other facilities include a rooftop swimming pool, a restaurant, bar and a ballroom that can accommodate up to 300 people.

“The opening of Hilton Garden Inn Hong Kong Mongkok… highlights our long-term commitment to this key market,” said Bruce McKenzie, Hilton’s senior vice president of operations for Greater China & Mongolia. “We are proud to have this hotel join the well-established Conrad Hong Kong, enabling us to offer our guests greater choice when they visit this gateway city.”

The Hong Kong hotel becomes ninth Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Greater China, but the company’s main Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand remains without a presence in Hong Kong.
