AccorHotels has unveiled the redesigned rooms at the ibis Sydney Airport.

Local Sydney-based designer Carmen Glenister led the project, modernising all 200 rooms at the budget hotel.

The project included the addition of new space-saving furnishings, bed heads, carpets, bathroom fixtures and wall-mounted TVs.

The revamp of the rooms forms part of the hotel’s AU$4 million (US$3m) refurbishment project, which will also include a new hotel exterior. The entire project is expected to be completed in August.
