Archipelago International is on the verge of achieving a major landmark in the development of its upscale Aston brand, with the launch of its 100th hotel.
The Aston Anyer Beach Resort, West Java, is set to welcome its first guests in December 2014, joining a large portfolio of Aston hotels in Indonesia that now ranges from Medan in the west to Jayapura in the east.
“Following the topping off ceremony in July this year, we are delighted to announce that our highly anticipated Aston Anyer Beach Resort will be the 100th hotel in our Aston collection,” said John Flood president & CEO of Archipelago International.
“Anyer is a great location to mark this momentous milestone, with a huge influx of tourism from travellers of all types, breathtaking scenery and a stunning private beach to boot. We are very confident that this milestone will be one of many to come.”
The 100th Aston property will be located in Anyer – a popular beach destination for residents of Jakarta and West Java, 90 minutes’ drive from the Indonesian capital.
Aston Anyer Beach Resort will feature 101 rooms and suites, a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, private beach, ping pong and pool tables, a bonfire pit and a spa. And for the corporate market there will be three meeting rooms and a terrace located on the top floor, overlooking the Indian Ocean.
Aston is just one of Archipelago’s brands that is undergoing significant expansion; earlier this year the company announced plans to almost double its collection of Favehotels to 150 properties by the end of 2015.
