JetPad has recently unveiled a zero noise and emission-free personal watercraft (PWC).

Distributors globally amounting to over 18 – including influential big-hitters from across the Middle East, the USA and Australia – have expressed keen interest for the unique concept.

JetPad, which is set to begin manufacturing operations in Al Quoz, Dubai, in May.

In particular, there has been significant interest from hoteliers keen to bolster their revenue-generating water sports offerings without compromising on the enjoyment of beachgoers or adversely impacting on the environment.

An enthusiastic Alexander Schellnast, chairman, JetPad said: “The stage is now set for us to evolve into a genuine business success-story – a guilt-free alternative to PWCs that elegantly sidesteps traditional gripes like questionable safety records, oil-spills and ear-splitting noise to offer sheer, unadulterated fun for the family.”

Initially launching with the ‘Go-Kart’ edition, JetPad also plans to introduce the ‘Explorer’, which will appeal to marine biologists and oceanographers with its steering-wheel controlled fish-eye camera, and a rescue edition for hard to reach areas requiring rapid response.

All JetPads will be manufactured in the UAE using top quality Conformité Européenne (CE)-approved components on an ISO-certified assembly line. While JetPad initially pitched at the leisure market, interested individuals can order units online now.
