Korean Air has formed a new codeshare partnership that will allow its passengers to fly to Argentina.
The new tie-up with Aerolineas Argentinas will see the two airlines team up on flights from Seoul to Buenos Aires, operating via New York or Sao Paulo.
Passengers will be able to fly with Korean Air daily from Seoul’s Incheon Airport to New York JFK, then onwards to Buenos Aires’ Ministro Pistarini International Airport with Aerolineas Argentinas.
Alternatively Korean Air operates three weekly flights from Seoul to Sao Paulo, which then connect to the Argentine national carrier’s services to Buenos Aires’ Jorge Newbery Airport.
The New York codeshare will commence on 25 March 2015, with the Sao Paulo service expected to follow in April.
Korean Air and Aerolineas Argentinas are partners in the SkyTeam alliance.
