Mantra Group has announced plans to open three new hotels across three Australian states.
In New South Wales, Mantra has added the 45-room Pavilion Hotel Wagga Wagga (formerly the All Seasons Pavilion Wagga Wagga) to its network. The property will now undergo a refurbishment before being rebranded as the Mantra Pavilion Wagga Wagga later this year.
In Western Australia, Mantra has taken over operations of the 54-villa Frangipani Resort on Broome’s Cable Beach. From mid-July 2013, the property will be renamed the Mantra Frangipani Broome.
And finally in Queensland, Mantra is developing a brand new 185-room property in the northern city of Townsville. Forming part of a new leisure precinct, the Mantra Townsville is expected to open in 2015.
“We have a broad mix of coastal resorts and CBD properties in all capital cities in the Mantra network, and this expansion into regional areas means we can offer an even greater geographical reach to corporate and leisure guests,” said Mantra Group’s CEO, Bob East.
The company is also expanding its Mantra Geraldton property in Western Australia, where a further 25 apartments are being added, and Mantra Rainbow Shores on the Sunshine Coast, where 26 new villas are being constructed.
