National Express is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and has released photos and footage like this one from 1972 when it first started operating.
Back in the 1970s more Brits took holidays in Britain and seaside locations, while now coach trips are used for short breaks and spontaneous trips. They also had hostesses back in the seventies and we can’t help but think this looks more like an aircraft service.
