Norway’s flag carrier, Norwegian, has launched its first dedicated training programme for travel agents in partnership with OTT in the UK.
The new training will give agents the confidence and knowledge to sell Norwegian to their customers, as the online portal is a one-stop shop for agents. The portal covers everything from how Norwegian began, Norwegian’s Reward programme to downloadable fact sheets, news and everything in between.
The training programme consists of three key modules – route network, product and how to sell Norwegian. Once agents have successfully completed the training programme they can download a certificate and will automatically be entered into a prize draw, where they could win a pair of confirmed economy class tickets to either New York or Boston. Agents just need to complete the course by the 31st August to be in with the chance of winning.
Norwegian’s head of Sales UKI, Dominic Tucker, said: “We are pleased to launch our first ever online training programme for agents. The programme covers all airline relevant information; ensuring agents are comfortable with both our products and booking Norwegian. OTT is a fantastic training platform for educating agents and with our ever-expanding network, it is important that agents have the right knowledge to become a Norwegian expert.”
OTT’s head of Partnerships, Zoe Prophet, commented: “OTT are delighted to be in partnership with Norwegian to help them promote their brand and their pioneering low-cost long-haul flights to the US. We’ve watched with interest over the last 12 months as their US network continues to grow and we’re pleased to be able to help our 125,000 agents learn more about the brand, routes and service offering.”
