Oman Air is introducing a fifth frequency per week between Muscat and Paris Charles De Gaulle from 25 October.

Oman Air first launched flights from Muscat to Paris in 2009. Abdulrahaman Al Busaidy, chief operating officer at Oman Air, said strong demand has prompted it to add another scheduled weekly flight.

“Oman Air is delighted to be operating more services between Muscat and Paris than ever before in response to the growing demand from Oman and international markets,” he said.

The move comes as Oman Air continues its current programme of major fleet and network expansion. The programme was launched in late 2014 and will see the airline’s fleet size increase from 30 aircraft to 57 aircraft by 2018, and to 70 aircraft by 2020.

The expanded fleet is enabling Oman Air to launch more new destinations, increase frequencies on established routes and offer more convenient connections at Muscat International Airport.

As of 25 October, Oman Air’s flights between Muscat and Paris will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
