Mantra Group has opened its first Peppers hotel in Western Australia.

The upscale brand made its debut in the state following the unveiling of the AU$40 million (US$30.2m), 120-room Peppers Kings Square Hotel in Perth.

The new-build hotel is located on Wellington Street in Perth’s city centre, close to the Perth Arena. Guests should be able to easily identify it; its exterior will feature a “light show and waveform façade”.

“The addition of Peppers Kings Square Hotel will play a key role in further elevating Perth’s international profile and attractiveness as a key leisure and business destination,” said Mantra’s executive director of acquisitions, Michael Moret-Lalli .

“The hotel is strategically located just 200 metres from Perth Arena in the city’s entertainment and events precinct of the CBD, positioning the property as the signature accommodation choice for event patrons, corporates and leisure travellers.”

Facilities at the hotel include a the Stage Kitchen & Bar restaurant, a valet parking service, free high-speed Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception.

Peppers Kings Square Hotel joins five other Mantra Group properties in Western Australia, covering Perth, Geraldton, Bunbury and Broome.
