Sofitel Nanjing Galaxy has completed a major 15-month renovation.
Costing more than US$20 million, the project included an expansion of the lobby, plus new rooms, improved facilities the launch of new F&B concepts and meetings facilities.
The hotel’s inventory has increased from 278 to 352 rooms, including nine one- to two-bedroom apartments suited for families or long-stays.
F&B options now include the new KweeZeen all-day dining restaurant, which includes 160 seats and open kitchens, while there is also a new Italian restaurant, Bistecca, and Le Chinois Chinese restaurant with eight private dining rooms and an open dining area.
The meeting and banqueting facilities will include new audio-visual equipment and complimentary Wi-Fi. Finally, improvements have been made to the club lounge, Club Millesime, which offers views across the city and river.
“After seven years of successful operations and with the full support of the owing company, Suning, the hotel has fully completed its renovation to further enhance luxury services and positions the hotel right up there as the best Hotel in Nanjing and the region. The Sofitel Nanjing Galaxy is located close to the city’s main Lion’s Gate area.
