Taj prepares to expand in Dubai

India’s Taj Hotels will launch its second hotel in Dubai next month.
The new Taj Dubai is located in the centre of the UAE city, close to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building.
The luxury hotel will feature 296 rooms including the 223m² Maharaja Suite and 680m² Royal Suite. A range of other junior suites and Taj Club rooms will offer access to the hotel’s club lounge.
F&B outlets at the Taj Dubai will include the lobby level Byzantium Lounge, a Peruvian al-fresco restaurant called Tesoro, the Elegant Elephant gastro pub and the Bombay Brasserie, which serves modern Indian cuisine overlooking the Burj Khalifa.
Guests will be able to relax at the Jiva Health & Fitness Suite, which offers a gym, swimming pool, steam room, sauna and spa, while the MICE market will be catered for with more than 1,000m² of event space, including a 500-pax capacity ballroom.
Taj Dubai will become the Indian company’s second property in the city, following the Taj Palace Hotel.
