The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has appointed new representatives for West and South India, starting 1 October 2012. Blue Square Consultants (BSC) will now handle trade servicing, marketing and public relations for Thailand.

Sethaphan Buddhani, Director of TAT in India said, “These are exciting times for Thailand as a destination, with last year’s arrivals from India crossing the 9.11 lakh mark, while our aim is to cross the million mark this year. We believe BSC will bring in the dynamism and its understanding of the Indian outbound market to propel this growth in 2013.”

Lubiana Sheerazi, Head of BSC said, “Our repertoire of services will enable Thailand as the numero uno destination for the Indian outbound market.”
