Flo Wallace has been named travel trade and PR manager at VisitWiltshire. Wallace started in the role on Monday and in this newly-created role is now the main contact for travel trade at the tourism agency. She joins from Longleat where she was group sales and marketing manager.
John Hurley has been announced as the new chief technology officer at Ryanair. Hurley will join the airline on 15 September from publisher Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. He will be in charge of rolling out Ryanair’s digital and technology strategy including its Ryanair Labs hub.
Steve Wilson has been appointed director of customer relations at Capita Travel and Events. Wilson will be responsible for the firm’s account management team and customer relationships. He joins from Carlson Wagonlit Travel where he had been working for 18 years.
Peter Saunders has been joined the board of Air Partner as an independent non-executive director. Saunders will join the board on 18 September and will also be appointed as a member of the audit and remuneration committees from 2 December. He is currently non-executive director of several retail brands including Canadian Tire Corporation, Godiva, Total Wine & More and Jack Wills.
