Singapore’s national carrier Singapore Airlines has launched a UK travel agent website which provides the trade with booking information, competitions and news.

Wilson Yong, general manager UK & Ireland, Singapore Airlines, commented: “Earlier this year we expanded our distribution strategy to enable more agents to sell Singapore Airlines by providing increased access to our best fares. The launch of our new travel agents’ website is the next step in our strategy to make it as easy as possible for our partners to sell our network; this time through ensuring that the servicing support, news and product information agents may need from time to time is always available.”

Singapore Airlines currently has five daily flights departing the UK for Singapore from Heathrow and Manchester Airport. The London to Singapore service will see the carrier launch its brand new interiors on the newly delivered Boeing 777-300ER.

The carrier is running monthly competitions with the trade which include prizes like Charles Heidsieck Champagne, which is served in Business Class and two economy tickets to Singapore.
