Singapore’s national carrier Singapore Airlines is to roll out its new cabins on the London route from today (27 September).

The cabins will be introduced to eight of the carrier’s Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which were recently delivered by the manufacturer. The new jets will be in service on select flights from today, with a daily service added from late October.

The new cabins, which are being described by the carrier as ‘sanctuaries’, have a bed length of 80-82 inches and a width of 35 inches. The beds have been given an extra thick mattress and have been fitted with the company’s new in-flight entertainment system, Krisworld.

The 78 inch business class seats will recline to 132 degrees and have the functionality of two positions: ‘easy z’ and ‘sundeck’.
