Hilton Worldwide has signed a new management agreement for a Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Jaipur.
The hotel group has signed a contract with Goverdhandham Estate Private Limited for the new Hilton Garden Inn Jaipur Amer Fort, which is scheduled to open in the last quarter of 2015.
The hotel will feature 125 rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar, fitness centre, outdoor pool and approximately 140m² of meeting and event space. It will also include the Hilton Garden Inn brand’s signature offerings including complimentary internet access and 24-hour business centre services, and the 24-hour ‘Pavilion Pantry’ convenience store.
“Jaipur is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India, and we anticipate opening our first hotel in the city early next year. In addition to this, we are now delighted with the opportunity to work with Goverdhandham Estate Private Limited to increase our footprint in this attractive leisure destination with the Hilton Garden Inn brand. India is a key strategic market for Hilton Worldwide. Presently, we operate hotels and resorts in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chennai, Vadodara, Pune, Goa and Shillim. Over the next eight to 10 months, we are very excited about extending our network to Bangalore, Trivandrum, Agra, as well as Jaipur,” said Martin Rinck, president for Asia Pacific at Hilton Worldwide.
Adrian Kurre, global head for Hilton Garden Inn said, “The two Hilton Garden Inn hotels in India, at Saket and Gurgaon, New Delhi NCR, have been received very well. Another Hilton Garden Inn hotel is scheduled to open in Trivandrum later this year. We are pleased with this opportunity to extend the brand’s presence in the country. Hilton Garden Inn has set the standard in the mid-market sector offering an award-winning combination of best-in-class customer service and affordable comfort and convenience.”
