Hilton Worldwide has continued its rapid expansion in China with the launch of its first hotel in the city of Foshan, Guangdong province.
Located in the southern city’s Chancheng district, the 27-storey Hilton Foshan offers 600 rooms and suites, five F&B outlets, a 24-hour fitness centre, one indoor and two outdoor swimming pools, and a spa.
“We are excited to introduce Hilton Hotels & Resorts to Foshan, the third-largest city in Guangdong and an important manufacturing hub,” said Rob Palleschi, global head of Hilton Hotel & Resorts.
“We are committed to furthering our success throughout the country and look forward to serving a variety of travelers visiting this important Chinese business hub.”
The Foshan launch comes just days after Hilton opened its first hotel in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan province. Hilton now operates more than 30 hotels in mainland China, covering 21 cities.
