Hilton has revealed that it will open a new resort in Okinawa next month.
Launching on 2 July 2014, the Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort is a nine-storey property located next to the Mihama Town Resort American Village, one of the Okinawa’s largest entertainment areas. The resort offers 346 rooms, all with ocean views, while facilities include three swimming pools, two waterslides, two restaurants, a bar, fitness centre, spa, five function rooms and a ballroom.
Guests can also partake in activities including snorkelling, scuba diving or surfing.
“Having operated in Japan for over 50 years, we are delighted to build on our legacy in this wonderful country with the opening of Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort. This property will be our eighth Hilton-branded hotel in this dynamic market and will follow the steps of its sister properties in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Fukuoka,” said Rob Palleschi, global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort will be Hilton Worldwide’s 11th property in Japan.
