Preferred Hotel Group has formed a new partnership with Air China that will reward the airline’s frequent flyers.

Members of Air China’s PhoenixMiles FFP will now be able to earn up to 800 miles for qualified stays at select properties within Preferred’s global portfolio. Preferred currently offers 163 properties across 42 cities to which Air China flies.

And 16 of these hotels, including East Hong Kong and Royal Plaza on Scotts in Singapore, are offering double miles as extra incentive to Air China’s members.

To earn the miles, members must present their PhoenixMiles card to the hotel at the time of check-in.

“Asia is an important market for Preferred Hotel Group and we are committed to continuously finding new ways to enhance our footprint in the region,” said Anthony Ross, Preferred’s executive vice president of Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa.

“Our partnership with Air China’s award-winning PhoenixMiles program will bring great visibility to our global network of independent hotels and allow us to extend additional benefits to both consumers and China’s greater travel community.”

Air China becomes the 17th airline to join Preferred’s list of FFP partners.
