Hilton Worldwide has reached a milestone in its Chinese expansion, with the opening of its 50th hotel in the Greater China region.
The Hilton Changzhou launched this week in eastern China’s Jiangsu province, offering 299 rooms and suites, five F&B outlets, two large ballrooms and a range of other facilities, including a golf simulator.
“We are proud that Hilton Changzhou will become our 50th property in China; this is truly a monumental occasion for Hilton Worldwide as we continue to deepen our presence in Greater China and strengthen our brand portfolio of world class, yet locally resonant hospitality,” said Bruce McKenzie, senior vice president of operations for Hilton in Greater China & Mongolia.
“We look forward to better serving our guests across all Hilton Worldwide properties, and celebrating many more new property openings across Greater China in the near future.”
Hilton now operates four of its brands in China: Hilton, Conrad, DoubleTree and Waldorf Astoria.
