Air China to launch Geneva flights
Air China will commence a new direct route to Geneva this year.
Starting on 7 May 2013, the Beijing-based carrier will offer four weekly to the Swiss city, using an Airbus A330-200. The launch will make Air China the only carrier offering direct flights between Beijing and Geneva.
Robert Deillon, CEO of Geneva Airport, said he would be “delighted to welcome an increasing number of Chinese visitors”.
Services will depart Beijing’s Capital International Airport at 1330 and arrives in Geneva at 1825. The return flight will depart the Swiss city at 2025, before arriving back into the Chinese capital at 1255 the next day.
Air China said the flight schedules had been configured to offer quick transfers to other Asian destinations, including Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Manila.
