British Airways to fly Dreamliner to Chennai

British Airways has announced one of its new Boeing 787 Dreamliners will be placed on flights from Heathrow to Chennai this October.

The airline will also introduce another weekly service to the route when the aircraft is deployed, making the route a daily service.

The aircraft will have business, premium economy and economy classes, with fares starting from GBP640 return.

BA already flies the Dreamliner to Newark and Toronto and will also place it on flights to Austin, Hyderabad, Chengdu, Philadelphia and Calgary.

BA is introducing 20 new aircraft to its fleet this year including four Dreamliners and five Airbus A380s, with 36 aircraft ordered in total.
