Hilton Worldwide has unveiled a new campaign designed to make its meetings better for the environment, and for the health of delegates.
The Meet with Purpose concept provides meeting planners with a series of options designed to align with companies’ CSR policies.
It will be divided into two main categories: ‘Mindful Eating’, which encourages healthy eating, reduced food waste and sustainable ingredients, and ‘Mindful Meeting’ which offers paperless registration and efficient energy use in meeting rooms.
“Today’s meeting attendees seek greater meaning in their event experiences and expect event planners to consider the broader implications of the meeting itself,” explained Lesley Brasesco, Hilton’s managing director of sales effectiveness for the Americas.
“Meet with Purpose offers meeting professionals a menu of options that make it easy to incorporate sustainable, impactful and healthy choices that deliver on the broader corporate responsibility commitments of our customers and Hilton.”
The new campaign form part of Hilton’s CSR strategy, Travel with Purpose.
