Hilton has launched a new resort property in the coastal city of Qingdao, in eastern China’s Shandong province.
The Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach offers 431 rooms and suites, all with private balconies and either garden or ocean views.
Located on the city’s Golden Beach, the resort offers a range of facilities including five F&B outlets, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness centre, spa and tennis courts, while there is also an 18-hole golf course nearby.
The hotel also offers expansive conference and banqueting space, with 23 function rooms, a 2,100m² ballroom and an 800m² pre-function area.
“Continuing the pioneering spirit of our founder, Conrad Hilton, of entering new and exotic locations, we are delighted to fly the Hilton Hotels & Resorts flag in a destination as attractive as Qingdao,” said Rob Palleschi, global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts. “The hotel’s design concept reflects a modern twist on Qingdao’s history, with European architecture complemented by traditional garden views.
“We are confident that Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach will offer travellers to this important gateway city the unparalleled service and amenities for which the Hilton brand is known around the globe.”
The new resort becomes the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in Shandong province.
