Hilton Worldwide is to open its first hotel in Estonia’s capital, Talinn, it has been revealed. The property, which is expected to open in 2016, will be the operator’s first within the entire Baltic region.
“With Hilton Worldwide’s heritage in Europe stretching almost 60 years, we are delighted to announce our expansion into the Baltic region,” said Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, Europe & Africa, Hilton Worldwide. “Hilton Tallinn is a high quality project and a superb example of our core Hilton brand expanding in capital cities and popular destinations across the region.”
The new 202-room hotel will be located a few minutes from the city’s historic old town and its major commercial areas.
