Hilton’s Abu Dhabi plans unveiled

Hilton Worldwide recently announced the signing of a new Hilton Hotels & Resorts branded hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The hotel, currently known as Abu Dhabi Al Maqta, will rebrand and re-open as Hilton Abu Dhabi Capital Grand in Summer 2013.
The 281-room property features a wide range of accommodations, from classic and deluxe rooms as well as junior to presidential suites.
The hotel, which will undergo a series of brand changes before joining the Hilton Hotels & Resorts portfolio, boasts of a 700-capacity grand ballroom with a separate 500-capacity function room, five large meeting rooms, two boardrooms and a VIP Majilis with private entrance. There are also indoor or outdoor pools and a range of amenities which include seven restaurants and bars.
