Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) has launched a new service that enables passengers to access a fully bespoke Skyscanner flight search engine application within its site, helping them find the lowest priced air fares on flights departing from Liverpool.
Liverpool is the first airport to build and launch a website based flight search service using the Skyscanner API, which connects LJLA passengers to Skyscanner’s flight comparison data.
The bespoke flight search feature is powered by Skyscanner’s dedicated B2B arm, Skyscanner for Business. LJLA launched its new more user friendly website earlier this year.
Sarah Barrett, marketing director for Liverpool John Lennon Airport, who has lead the customer transformation for LJLA said: “Our Faster, Easier, Friendlier benefits run across all aspects of the passenger experience, including how we engage with our customers to make booking the lowest priced flights from Liverpool as simple as possible via our website.”
