A British Airways flight from Riyadh to London had to be aborted twice in 24 hours due to a fault with its wings.
The first incident occurred on Wednesday (7 August) when the Boeing 747 had to turn around when its wing flaps got jammed.
The same aircraft then faced a problem when the flight was rescheduled on Thursday morning.
Around 70 passengers onboard the aircraft staged a protest after the two failed attempts, staying on the aircraft for five hours while it sat on the runway at the Saudi Arabia airport. They have criticised the airline for poor customer service during the incident, when one BA agent was left to help the 300 passengers.
According to the Daily Mail, BA sent a replacement aircraft this morning and apologised, offering compensation and complimentary tickets.
