BA adds Hong Kong flights
British Airways will add three more weekly services to Hong Kong later this month.
From 25 March, the UK national carrier will operate three additional weekly flights, complementing its existing twice-daily departures.
“With events like the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and the Summer Olympics taking place in the UK this year, the extra flights will be a welcome addition for customers looking to travel during busy periods,” said Kevin McQuillan, BA’s Regional General Manager for East Asia. “Our new daytime flight will give business travellers and holidaymakers alike more choices, so they can make the best use of their time.”
The new flight will leave Hong Kong on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 0910 and arrive at London Heathrow at 1500 the same day. The return service departs London on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, leaving around noon UK time and arriving in Hong Kong early the following morning.
The extra flights, which will be operated using a three-class Boeing 777-300ER, are scheduled to operate from 25 March to 28 April, 27 May to 3 September, and 3 to 27 October 2012.
