Air China flies to Angkor

Air China will start flying to Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor Wat, next month.
Commencing on 1 December 2013, the Beijing-based carrier will initially operate twice weekly flights to the Cambodian tourist town, every Wednesday and Sunday.
But the frequency will be doubled to four weekly flights from 1 January 2014, with the addition of Monday and Friday flights. Air China will operate the route using a single-aisle Boeing 737 aircraft,
The Siem Reap launch marks the latest stage in Air China’s Southeast Asian expansion. The airline also plans to connect Chiang Mai with Beijing and Wuhan, as well as adding more flights to its existing Beijing-Bangkok and Beijing-Phuket routes.
