Air China has added a new connection between Beijing and Eastern Europe, following the launch of its inaugural flight to Poland.

The maiden Beijing-Warsaw flight departed on 21 September, marking the airline’s debut in Poland.

Flights will now operate four times a week, departing Beijing every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 0230 and arriving in Warsaw at 0620. The return flights then leave the Polish capital at 1410 and get back to Beijing at 0430 the following morning.

Air China will serve the route using an Airbus A330-200 featuring flat-bed seats in business class. LOT Polish Airlines, which is Air China’s partner in the Star Alliance, will codeshare on the flights.

Warsaw becomes Air China’s third destination in Eastern Europe (not including Russia) following Minsk and Budapest.
