Air China will deploy its new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on routes to the US.
From 1 June 2012, the airline’s second daily Beijing-Los Angeles services will be served using the new B777, following the introduction of the aircraft on the first daily LA flight in February. Then from October 2012, Air China’s Beijing-New York flights will be upgraded to the new B777, with San Francisco flights following in 2013. All three routes are currently served using a B747-400.

The upgrade of the two daily flights out of Los Angeles and the daily flight out of New York during this year alone shows our commitment to provide air travellers with the best product available. The performance enhancements in the range and payload capabilities of the B777-300ER make it a perfect match for our passengers to and from the United States,” said Dr Chi, Air China’s Vice President and General Manager for North America.
The new B777-300ER features eight suites in China’s Forbidden Pavilion first class, 41 flat bed seats in Capital Pavilion business class and 259 seats in the economy cabin. All seats feature seatback in-flight entertainment systems.
