Air China will launch a new non-stop service between Shenzhen and Frankfurt next month.

Commencing on 20 May 2016, the airline will operate the route three times a week using a 237-seat, two-class Airbus A330 aircraft.

Flights will depart Shenzhen’s Bao’an International Airport every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday at 2330 and arrive at Frankfurt International Airport at 0620 the next day. The return flight will then leave Frankfurt every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 1200, getting back to Shenzhen at 0545.

The new service will mark the first direct European link for Shenzhen and continues Air China’s expansion from the southern airport. The airline launched a new service from Shenzhen to Los Angeles, via Beijing, earlier this year, and also plans to start flying from the Pearl River Delta hub to Melbourne.
