BA flight makes emergency landing

A British Airways flight to Beijing made an emergency landing in the early hours of this morning after its navigation system failed.
The Boeing 747 aircraft safely touched down at Irkutsk airport in eastern Siberia earlier today with 270 passengers and 16 crew onboard.
According to the Siberian Times, passengers were told there was a malfunction on the aircraft before the landing and have been given hotel accommodation for tonight.
BA’s website shows no indication that the flight was delayed and its return leg to Heathrow is to operate as usual tonight.
