British Airways (BA) has launched its student promotional offer for destinations to UK, US, Canada and select European
destinations.
The offer allows Indian students flying with British Airways between 1 June and 31 October 2013 to carry an extra piece of luggage weighing up to 23kg in addition to the permitted checked in allowance of 20kg.
Discussing the student initiative, Christopher Fordyce, Regional Commercial Manager for British Ariways in South Asia said, “British Airways’ student offers have been widely appreciated by our young customers in the past. We are delighted to return with yet another exciting offer for our student travellers from India, this year. Our codeshare with American Airlines gives an additional advantage to choose from an extensive network covering more than 200 destinations in the world.”
The offer is valid for outbound travel on or before 31 October 2013, originating in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad or Chennai. The excess baggage is only valid one way, on the outbound half of the journey.
