British Airways has announced an increase in its weekly flight schedule from Heathrow to Philadelphia International Airport in spring 2018.
It will increase the service from seven flights to ten flights per week.
From April 2018, British Airways will operate an additional flight on Monday, Friday and Sunday, departing at 17:00 and arriving in Philadelphia at 19:55 local time, with the return journey to London departing from Philadelphia International Airport at 22:00 and arriving in London at 10:15 the next morning.
The service will operate on the airline’s newest aircraft, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, offering passengers the choice of World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World cabins.
Along with additional international flights, 2018 will also bring a 20% increase in hotel inventory to Philadelphia. New openings are expected from a range of properties like the Four Seasons, located in the new Comcast Innovation Tower which will provide guests with sky-high views of the city, as well as properties like the Cambria Hotel, and Starwood’s new dual-branded W and Element hotels.
